Ronald McDonald House Central Indiana is an independent non-profit whose mission is to provide essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when children need healthcare since 1982. Housing and meals are two of the biggest ways we support families when a child is ill or injured. Our House of 51 rooms is located steps away from Riley Children’s Health, but all our services are available for families with children at any local hospital; we are their home away from home for as long as they need.
We provide nutritious meals, everyday essentials, and moments of comfort and care to families going through some of their toughest days. An ill or injured child can strike any family at any time, and we are here to help lighten the load through our House, Meals, and Family Room, all free of cost.
Because of your support, the support of our founding and forever partner – McDonald’s, and others in Central Indiana and beyond, we have helped thousands of families every year for decades. Ronald McDonald House envisions a world where every family has what they need to ensure the best health outcomes for their children and we work year-round to help make that a reality.
Our staff is dedicated to helping healing families with compassion, innovation, and, most importantly, good-heartedness. Every day we strive to be a light in the lives of people who need us the most – families healing with their little ones.
