Ronald McDonald House is a nonprofit 501(c) (3) organization that relies on the support of numerous corporate partners, individuals, and foundations to help achieve its goals worldwide. McDonald’s is the founding and forever partner of the Ronald McDonald House since the creation of the first House in Philadelphia in 1974. From the moment the first House opened, McDonald’s employees, franchisees, suppliers, and customers worldwide have shared donations as well as their talent and time to support the Ronald McDonald House mission.
The generosity of the McDonald’s community has helped us positively impact tens of millions of Ronald McDonald House families around the world since 1974. For our House and the families we serve, the biggest way McDonald’s supports us today is through the Round-Up Program. When customers across Central Indiana choose to Round-Up for Ronald McDonald House, they help support our families. By Rounding-Up on the app, at the kiosk, or the drive-through, in 2024 and 2025, Central Indiana customers raised over 2.3 million dollars for our House.
Your favorite local restaurants also support Ronald McDonald House Central Indiana through donation boxes, point-of-sale fundraisers, and donations of one penny per Happy Meal® sold. Restaurants also host local charity events and give volunteer support.
